You may have noticed some changes in our studio set up. We recently did a small renovation and are now offering boudoir sessions in our south Austin studio. With this location, we have some fun new sets to offer our boudoir clients for their boudoir sessions.
A client favorite is our new boho set up. This set up offers an earthy, neutral vibe. It has a fun egg chair, faux fur rug, and some greenery with plants. Depending on the look you are going for, we have a lot of new poses to showcase with this set.
For boudoir images, I almost always gravitate to black and white images. However with this set, I’ve really been loving the warm colors. The back lighting from the window really gives a beautiful sun kissed glow to the skin. Which is perfect for that boho feel.
The egg chair also offers some amazing pose ideas to create the perfect silhouette to curves. Yes, I’m talking about the perfect booty shots! I will show you exactly how to get into these poses. I will direct you head-to-toe on how to get the perfect angle for your shot.
With this set being neutral, any color outfit you choose goes great with this studio set. You could keep it simple with a classic black or white outfit. Or you could make a bold statement with a bright color. The client above chose red and it looks amazing in this set. The possibilities are endless. Are you ready to book your boudoir session?
Miss J was such a blast to work with. So fun and genuinely down to earth. I loved our conversations and getting to know her through the entire boudoir photography experience. She was absolutely stunning, especially in this blue bodysuit lingerie piece. When I saw that in her wardrobe, I instantly knew she had to wear it for one of her outfits. Normally, I tend to favor more black and white images for boudoir photography, to me it just adds that artistic element, but that bright blue really brought out her beautiful skin tones and added the perfect pop of color.
Like most clients, Miss J was nervous about the whole boudoir experience. She was interested in creating the perfect wedding gift for her soon to be groom but didn’t really know what to expect. During the hair and makeup portion of the shoot we had plenty of time to chat and get to know each other. This is one thing I love about being able to do the hair, makeup, and photography myself. It really gives me the one-on-one time with the client to help relieve any pre photoshoot jitters. So often, we as women become insecure about our bodies and curves. Always wanting to disguise or hide them. I really wanted to help Miss J feel comfortable to embrace her beautiful curves and accentuate them. I mean HELLO, can we say JLo booty goals or what?
“Jessica was AMAZING! She made me feel so comfortable and relaxed before and during our session. I could not have dreamed up a better experience. She has such talent as a photographer and also as a hair and makeup artist. When we did the Big Reveal, my jaw was on the floor with how beautiful the images were. I just couldn’t believe it. The boudoir photos were a present for my husband-to – be for his wedding gift. He ADORED them. I will recommend Jessica to any and everyone!” – Miss J
Thank you Miss J for trusting me with your boudoir photography experience and allowing me to share some of your beautiful images. Also, a huge thank you for that fabulous review! I hope you will look back at these photos for years to come and remember how GORGEOUS you truly are!

I had so much fun working with Miss B and helping her create a special bridal gift for her groom, now husband. She, like most brides, was a little unsure about the boudoir experience. I got the opportunity to chat with her more about it in person during her bridal hair and makeup trial. At that time she got to see all the products and a few sample sessions. She then decided to go for it and I’m so happy she did. Lucky for me, she graciously let me share her images and a little write up about her experience.
“Doing a boudoir shoot with Jessica was the most FUN and EMPOWERING thing I could have done for myself before my wedding. I wholeheartedly recommend it for every woman (single, soon-to-be-married, mother, anyone!), and fully believe that doing the shoot with Jessica was a huge reason as to why I had such a great experience. When I first booked with Jessica for my wedding hair and makeup, I saw that she also did boudoir photos and thought nothing of it. I am a pretty conservative person and have a very “normal” body. Why would I want or need to do a boudoir shoot?! After thinking about it more, looking through all of Jessica’s previous boudoir shoots, and meeting Jessica for my hair and makeup trial, I tentatively changed my mind. I decided to do it, but I was very nervous and wasn’t sure if the pictures would turn out as good as some of the other pictures that I’ve seen of girls with “better” bodies than me.”
“As soon as I arrived at the venue the morning of the shoot, Jessica so easily helped reduce my nerves. We chatted for about an hour while she did my hair and makeup. It really felt like I was hanging out with one of my good friends! One reason why I was so glad that I booked with Jessica over anyone else is that I had the chance to meet her beforehand (at my wedding hair and makeup trial) and also got to talk with her while she was helping me get ready for the boudoir shoot. I would have been much more nervous booking the shoot with someone that I had never met or spoken with in person before. After I was finished getting ready, we shot for about an hour and a half. It was SO MUCH FUN! Even though this boudoir album was a gift for my future husband, in the end, it really was more a gift to myself. I felt so confident and comfortable in my skin. Jessica is very good at ensuring that the poses she is putting you in will flatter your body and give you curves in the right places.”
“After the shoot was over, we met a few weeks later for the big reveal! I, again, felt like we were good friends as we went through all of the photos and picked out our favorites. I gave the album to my husband after our wedding, and he could not stop flipping through the pages! He loved all of the shots! Most importantly, I now have an album of classy and sexy photos of myself that I can go back and look at during different time periods of my life. I will never forget the feeling that I had during the photo shoot and will always be grateful for the experience that Jessica was able to provide. Ladies, if you are thinking about doing a boudoir shoot, DO IT. If this is not something that has ever been on your radar, DO IT. I promise, you will not regret it.”
